Normal. You need to be in 4lo for hill climbs offroad, especially with a manual trans. Your poor clutch will thank you

Sweet Jesus! A 6" lift and 35s?, definitely 4 low, and if you haven't already,,,,, regear that thing! If it's stock gearing, you probably need 4 low to get your hot supper through the local Chick-fil-A drive through.

 Yes, I had a Dirtbike that was very finicky at one time, used to flood out at times, really makes you look good coming off the line, lol! Hope you find what the problem is.

Wasn't there another thread similar to this talking about hill start assist either not working properly or causing the truck to stall when it starts rolling back on an incline?

Let's see a pic of the truck. Curious how much more your unsprung weight and rolling resistance is whit those wheels. I imagine bad axle wrap too.

Its not the hill start it works like it should its like as soon as the clutch engages and you hit the gas pedal it just bogs until it dies. I've never seen anything like it... back in the day when you were learning how and the old man put you on a hill you would just wind it up and dump it.. well even a good ol clutch burn dont work

It almost sounds like something is binding up. Front prop shaft, cv shaft?
