    Thought the same thing but I have the front end looked at regularly and it works fine on a complete flat

    But it's done it awhile I never tested it when it was stock but with 10000 it did it

    No but it doesn't even hesitate in 2 wheel to move up hill I can let off the clutch no gas and it rolls no problem it when you hit the throttle and and hit a hill

    Dumping the clutch, riding the clutch or letting off gradual and consistently end in the same result.... never had any issue with my 2015 or my 2012 tacoma (both standard) or any standard iv ever owned my 2016 is basically useless in any 4 wheel application. looking for help with an obvious mechanical problem

    I'll have to try to get one tomorrow i was unprepared lol I appreciate any help I did find an old thread back in 2018 with someone having the same problem but no answers there. May be just the first year or 2 of 3rd gen idk im tempted to go have one of the techs at the dealer and throw him in the hot seat

    Correct. In 2WD, all of the power is going to the rear wheels while it is divided 50/50 in 4WD. It may not be enough, when divided up, to overcome the resistance. Maybe a regear is in order? Especially with such a big lift and tires.

    Modified the level of gas in the tank
    While you're at it, literally dial up the heat of the driver seat to III

    That'll set his taint on fire...then ask him whats up with the fire setting in the seats

    The 2012 and 2015 Tacos were also geared much differently. Pretty much anyone that puts 33's on the 3rd Gen recommends regearing and it sounds like you have larger tires than that.

    Yeah im planning on a re gear for sure but trying to pick some brains before I dump money into all that and end up in the same boat lol resale: 2016 tacoma BIG got gears but no go haha sounds like a craigslist ad
