Hi there! I am looking for a new set of wheels and tires for my 2nd gen sport! I have some stock 17s on right now and I really like the set of black TRD rims on TacomaTown, but they are only 17s. Any recommendations for something similar in an 18 inch size? Also would like to have them poke out into the fenders a little more! Also any tire recommendations would be great, Thanks!

What size tire are you looking to put on the 18's once you get them?

I'm sitting on a set of 18X9 Method Vex 311's (not for sale) waiting on my lift to be installed. 2 inch OME. I was curious what size you were going with. I am debating between 265/70R18 and 275/70R18 (assuming the larger would clear if anyone knows)

What size tire did you end up going with? I'm thinking about going from 275/65r18 to 275/70r18.

Following. I have 18" wheels and I'm unsure what size tires to buy. Not much 18" feedback here.

I started with 16x8 then moved to 18x9 0 offset. I've been running 275/65r18 Toyo M/T for 2 months now. The tire looks good on that size wheel but I think I want a little more width and definitely more height. I was thinking 285/65r18 (play it safe) or 305/60r18 (might be too wide) or better yet 295/70r18 (might be too tall) but I don't think I can run the 295 without doing some cutting. I have UCA on order. Once I get them installed I'll reevaluate.

What's your suspension setup? I'd rather not cut anything.

I'm running stock gen 2 Limited wheels (unsure of specs) and I'll be adding a 2" strut spacer to level things out. Then tires and an alignment. I'm looking at 275/65 and 275/70 but there's not much definitive info on 18" tires here.

    I'm running:
OME-888 Coils w/ OME-90021-P Nitrocharger Sport Shocks- softer valving
    ToyTec .5" Top Spacer
OME-EL095R-P Rear Leaf Pack w/ OME-60091-P Nitrocharger Sport Shocks
    Eibach 1" Lift Block

If I remember correctly this nets me about a 2.75" lift up front and about 3" in the rear. Because of the offset you need to find people running Limited wheels and go off what they are doing. Also be aware if they are running spacers.

Check out post #3999. This was back in 2016 but I'm sure other people are doing setups like this.
