hit 30k on my way in tonight... gettin slight mileage anxiety now. 6k has to last me til May

 

How bad is the penalty for going over?

 

.25/mi so even 1000 is only $250; but I’d rather spend that $250 buying it out or towards something different. Problem is getting my wife on board with either scenario...she hates the buying process

 

So even if you buy it with a 1000 miles over, would they charge you the extra penalty? I've never looked at leases. I drive almost 20K a year.

 

no if I buy it, mileage is negligible because they don’t have to resell it. Also avoid a $495 return fee. I turned my last one in 2 months early on this one because it had a decent amount of positive equity. I didn’t have to put any money out of pocket down and payments were still stupid cheap due to strong residuals.

I may have to hang on to this because I won’t be able to replace it for anywhere near the 26k buyout. A lot could change in 5-6 months though.
