Got mine on. Will probably trim a little more once I get my winch but otherwise extremely happy with the fitment and looks.
Tubing matches the diameter and powder coat of my sliders and bed rack.

Is the removal of skid plate really necessary?

Thanks for the info. Can't wait to get this on with the lightbar and winch installed. Got a hell of deal on one as well, BNIB $389.99......:D Will be looking to install it all by the end of the month. Are the directions/measurements BA has for cutting spot on, or should I consider cutting any more or less? Lastly, does the rubber type trim come in box with the bumper (haven't opened it yet)?

Cutting dimensions are spot on. If you error I’d cut an 1/8 inch more than less. The supplied trim seems like it’s good quality.

Great thread!! I actually just purchased this one from TacomaBeast and I'm pretty excited. I did have a question i was hoping someone with this bumper could answer regarding the winch.

I was looking at this Winch here and was curious if it will definitely fit > https://tinyurl.com/ZESUPER-9500lb
    61kpke5Ce2L._AC_SL1000_.jpg

I'm looking at this one for two reasons. #1 the price and #2 the orange. I am transitioning to an orange accent theme.

I'm planning to put this light bar per another person post as it goes with my orange fog lights and my orange DRL ditch lights. https://tinyurl.com/OrangeWhiteCombo
    61V096ipQlL._AC_SL1200_.jpg

Then i am looking to add these Orange Shackles https://tinyurl.com/DRingShacklesOrange
    71qR8vxYycL._AC_SL1122_.jpg

I think all this will look pretty good with my current setup..

I was looking at the same winch. I got (almost) the same light. Don’t like the lights (mine are orange for some messed up reason, not amber).
if you get the winch post up your install pics. I’d like to know about fitment. I agree a top end winch would be great but considering I’d hardly ever use it, so long as it works the one time every 4 years I might need it is fine by me.

I posted this same post on the TacomaWorld FB page and one guy said he has it and it works great and he’s used it 6 times no issues. I think the key would be to keep it covered and clean it and check it when washing the truck. Idk if I’d just mount it and forget it until I need it. I feel running the motor every now and then would be smart.

as for the bar, I wanted orange rather than Amber because my dogs from CaliRaised are orange and my RC ditch lights have an orange DRL in them.

Question for anyone who installed this bumper.. when relocating the steering cooler, did you have to take the bracket off right near the passenger side engine splash shield? I installed mine last night and In order to push the cooler to fit on the new brackets I had to take that clamp bracket off. Anyone else have to do this? If so did you just leave it with with out putting that bracket back on?

I believe that's normal and you don't put it back on.

Ok thanks,Yeah that’s what I thought too, it’s just weird they don’t really mention it or give a relocating bracket for that. But it’s not like it’s flopping all over the place.
