Gawd no. 600 is great, IMHO. I did lower the cold start RPMs though. 1,500+ was ridonk.

OVT does smooth out the warm idle RPMs significantly.

I might not a mechanic or anything so a legitimate question... what would raising the RPM do while being idle?

well.... it's not turning off but when the rpms are low sometimes it makes me think that. but it's idling fine and every once in awhile it does a rough shake...just ordered a blue driver so I'm going to see if any codes come up...maybe its just me..lol
btw...by rough shake i mean i shakes a little more than idle...not the whole truck shaking...

Unless the RPMs dip during that shake, nothing wrong.

There is a low RPM engine trouble code if you had issues with the idle.

Load on the system can cause idle fluctuation like AC, power steering, etc.

rpms only go down to 600's or so @ stops/parked..the only time i notice the extra shake..never @ higher rpms...

On my 2020 v6 auto, rpm at idle in drive, or reverse is 600. In park 800. This is will a fully warmed-up motor.

600rpm while in D and stopped is normal.

What is "problem" that you feel you're having?

It’s not a problem. It’s normal for almost any new vehicle. No point in idling at 1000 rpm if you don’t need to

600 rpm idle is normal, shaking at idle is not.
