I have the Diamondback. I like it because it provides a little more security for items I store in the bed. Mine is water tight and haven’t had any leaks.

I just ordered a Lomax tonneau cover due to its low profile and excellent user feedback on the forums. It's also affordable at under $700 shipped.

I had a bakflip vip( similar to mx4) that lasted about 4 years before before starting to come apart but I think they were discontinued for that reason, replaced it with the revolver and I'm very happy with it

I have the same cover and have been happy with it for about a year and a half now. IMO its the best looking one out there.

I've had both Bak Revolver and now a Truxedo Sentry CT. So far, I prefer the Truxedo. The Bak was replaced once under warranty, as the glue started to fail and the cover literally came apart. Also note that it was not a full replacement...I had to pay 50%. This truck was also parked in my garage. It did not do well with California sun and heat. The Bak was more secure of the two, as it had full length latches into the bed rail. The Trux only has a front, mid, and rear latch. The Bak had a bed length water seal and worked pretty good. The Trux uses velcro on the edge which works great, but you have to remember to mash it down along the edge of the bed after you unroll the cover. I prefer the Truxedo convertible top (CT) material over the black vinyl of the Bak, but that's just opinion. I don't remove the cover very often, but if you do it's hard to beat the Trux mounting system. You can remove it from the truck in short order. The Bak was a little more involved and harder to re-align properly. Both covers can be broken into, with nothing more than a stout flat blade screwdriver. I think "out of sight, out of mind" applies here. Neither of mine have been broken into that I'm aware of, but between a Pop Lock and a hardcover I feel pretty good about leaving stuff back there.

I also have the Sentry CT, and after my initial problem with a damaged seal and poorly installed end caps on the rails, I have been happy with it. I also think it is the cleanest looking cover out there. When it's closed, it looks seamless, and doesn't stand up off the bedrails that much. When it's rolled up, you can still see out of the top half of the back window.

Are those taillight covers or tint? Look sharp. Do they reduce light output significantly?

I really like the Extang Encore I picked up on FB marketplace. Has yet to disappoint. Doesn't stick up a lot like other covers I've seen and has nice rounded edges.

Extang tonneau cover, variable speed wiper stalk, hood struts, ScangaugeII.
I am satisfied with my Extang Solid Fold. Easy to install in a few minutes. Can simply fold back and secures to a single stack. I have taken mine off twice for carry taller objects and reinstalled easily.

I almost got one of these and probably will unless I find a heavy discount on the retrax ones. I dont like the idea of a trifold on a 5ft bed.

There is nothing like the Retrax Pro XR. I had the OEM Tacoma cover but moved to this about 2 months ago and I love it. Highly recommended. Been trying to find a Tacoma owner close to me (Socal) that wants my OEM one but its complicated in COVID times. Taking up space in my garage and my wife said to get rid of it.

Our family has used two of the Tyger rollup ones on Amazon for $200-ish. No problems here.

I like the roll-up.. its a little more work to get secured (few seconds to adjust the velcro sides tight) but it can be rolled completely out of the way where the tri-fold cannot with my RTT on.... I roll mine up to access the Fuel and water Jerry cans at the front passenger side of the bed..

Lomax all the way. Removes in seconds with no tools.. and allows more clearance between the bed floor.
