The SSO has a classy stout look. Not a fan of any front bumper that has an “in you face” logo. I usually relate that marketing tactic to eBay import items and women that wear to much makeup. Which are fine but usually are built on the cheap.
I like the confident “I know it looks good and you’ll ask” classy approach.

Mine is in, will have a few photos when I get home for and installed. Only took 1 week from order to shipped. So I’m guess someone else backed out, considering my rear took 4 months.

I ordered the Cali raised 30” I talked to the sells guy at CBI, he couldn’t give me an exact measurement for the bar size but I found the specs on the Baja and the Cali is the same on the dimensions. Maybe later down the road I’ll upgrade to a name brand, but for now this one will work.

I’m sorry, that’s the size. I don’t know why they list it as a 32” when the bar is 30” and the exterior from bolt hole to hole is 31.5”’ possibly the brackets furthest point is that, but that’s the one I got the single row.

Bumper is on, have a Cali raised led 30” bar. Have about 1/4” on each side of the bar in the slot. Had to use some washers to fill the gap. But over all happy, my only issue is cbi is horrible on instructions, so actually had to email them to get a bolt count to even make sure I have the correct bolts. Then their youtube is helpful to an extent. You kinda have to have some kind of mechanically enclined gift to kinda of piece it together. But it’s not bad, the end result is amazing. Looks like it belongs on the truck and happy with the end result. Also, tandem offroad makes a control box mount. So look them up and support small businesss.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
I dont mind the DO from demello. I bought his bumper because I like it, and I dont mind advertising for Jason. He is a good dude. Same with Joe from mobtown, which is why i dont care that my skids say mobtown on them. I hate cbi, so if I had to buy one of their products i wouldnt want their logo or anything to do with them on it.

I’m not a fan of how the guard looked, not sure how solid it is considering it’s just bolted to the bumper through those slots on the side with 8 bolts. Not like it really protects a whole lot more from what the standard slimline does anyways. For the light bar I just wired into my switchpro that I have in cab, used the SDHQ mount.

Thanks, you have point about that bull bar. I could always add it later once I live with the new bumper for a while. Save a little money now!

The bumper alone is a big upgrade compared to what is there. Crazy to think that little “crash bar” is good enough now.

Got a question. I have the CBI Covert and ordered a Baja Design OnX6 30". Was told by the dealer it fits. However it seems the bar is too tall to fit in the channel for the light bar. It does not slide into the channel and fit flush. There is 2 inches of distance between the metals slots and the front of the light bar. The width seems fine. That can't be correct can it? Spent over an hour on hold at Baja before i hung up?
