Does anyone have any local recommendations for roof racks? I’m pretty set on the Martin Off Road, but want to see if there’s anything local-ish to look at first (and that I can pick up).

And should I just bite the bullet or wait for Black Friday?

 

Anyone know a shop that can do fluid film or POR15? My truck spent most of its life in the rust belt and I don’t have the facilities to coat it myself.

 

I've personally went to Diamond Auto body right off Power Inn for a car I have on the side. They're pretty reputable in their line of work but I don't know if their stuff extends over to doing undercoating but I'd suggest giving them a call and see for yourself.

Though on the topic of businesses, anyone have an alignment shop they go to? I've taken my car to Autosport209 right off Hammer lane but that's a bit far fetched now that I live farther away from them. There is a Affinity Performance in Rancho Cord but I want to see what other people have in mind.

 

I’m a fan of Clark frame and alignment in Roseville. Owner has a heavily modified Tacoma and they are familiar with most aftermarket uca’s

Eds auto care on watt ave is amazing. Took my taco and 4Runner there plus a handful of other cars. It’s about $50-60. But you have to call and schedule an appt.

Anyone know the part numbers or know where I can find the part numbers for the body clips that secure the plastic piece under the 2.5 gen headlights?

Good timing on these comments. I have new Tacoma, no experience with building an off road truck. My old Suburban worked fine for camping for years but pumped about upgrading this Tacoma after seeing all these builds on TW.

Recommendations for suspension and bumper place near Sac, that can walk me thru it, give recommendations? I'll look into Stellar Built. Thx

 

Stellar is probably the place to go at this point. They have been hit or miss for me a few times early on when they first opened, but have been happy with their work as of late. They will definitely help you set up the truck how you want it to be set up!
