It’s all messed up. There’s a 2009 sticker on the windshield and it looks like it’s been backed into. I think its the wrong picture. I might have to ride up there I’d be interested in the 09 if it’s cheap enough.

    The VIN is a 2016 Tacoma SR5.

Either the VIN is wrong (likely) or the photos are all wrong.

Yes, the photos show that this is an earlier 2nd gen before the 2012 facelift.

Or the previous owner of that Tacoma really pulled one over on that dealer making them think it was a 2016.

It also says "RWD" but it's a TRD Off-Road

I've seen this a ton. Most likely it's a dealership error since they deal with so much inventory. Some genuinely don't know what they have. I can't tell you how many times I saw an XL or XLT F150 marked as a Lariat. Or an SR5 marked as a TRD Off Road. Or TRD Sport...the list goes on...

It is especially annoying when you're looking for a vehicle with a specific trim or specific options/package. The sellers will often throw a bunch of names on the listing just because even though it may or may not be what it is. This is likely a simple mistake though.

There is a TRD Offroad Pre Runner that's RWD.

But, in this particular case, I would bet that it's not even a TRD. It lists the interior as "Black/Caramel" (beige). For those years, the TRD models interiors only came in grey.

Yep. Research, research, research. I often passed on the listing just because of the deception.
