Super stoked with the new Taco. Just put on some new kicks. After countless hours of internet search, decided on the Venomrex. Thanks to Tacoma World I decided on KO2s 275/70R17 and 3” lift with these wheels.

Thanks TW Peeps for the info!!!

Looks awesome!! Do they rub much? Is there much power loss? I have just purchased Venomrex wheels as well and trying to figure out the tire size to go with.

No rubbing with 285/75/17 and 3” lift. I upsized and happy I did. Really like the look and good clearance. I did experience power loss. My next mod will be OV tuner.

Did you do 275 or 285? What suspension did you go with? Also do you have side shots?

Any issues with the tires being a 8.5” max width on the 9” venomrex wheels?
I just ordered a set of venomrex wheels and was going to run 265/70r17 k02s which also have a 8.5” max width.

Here is a 265/70r17 Toyo at3 on the venomrex. I've had no issues being on the max width recommended for that tire. After installing a lift i've got about 2" over stock in the front with spc uca. With 2.5 degree caster the rub was extreme with 4.5 degree caster no rub at all.

Ive finally solved all my rubbing issues. Now I want bigger tires.

Did you have to get a cab mount chop to get these to not rub? The guy at a lift shop said I might need it.

I actually have 285/75s. No rubbing. I’ve done some off roading without issue. The only complaint is the truck drove like a snail in mud with the larger tires and MPG. OV Tune helps a little.
