Ugh, I'm so mixed on that. It's great to respect vets and stuff but...

I have a lot of vets in my family and I don't think they'd take very kindly to being patronized by a civ.

This is 100% true. The ones who are loud about it didn't do anything.

I got a buddy who was MARSOC and he won't say a word about what he did unless you get him 3 sheets to the wind and even then you only get a little of the crazy shit that went down over there.

I've been throwing dice and painting minis for a long time. It's awesome.

Never painted dice though.

 

Painting is a small part, this is a dice casting station. I paint them at my desk upstairs. I also polish masters for mold making, that gets done upstairs too. Different kind of resin though.

 

So I called Metal by the Foot today, and their CNC plasma is currently broken. The search continues, although I might just jigsaw it.

That's a neat gig. I haven't worked much with resin. We used to do silicone molds of Warhammer 40k frames and sprues so that we cold cast our own pewter versions. I probably still have the equipment somewhere. I should also probably stick to one or two hobbies at a time.

 

I wonder if they have a repair in the works or if I could quote them one and maybe make some money. Those big boi tables are super handy to have in your bag of favors owed.
