Got it sorted out. I won't go off on a rant but SOS is out of their mind if they think I'm dumb enough to shell out $300 for 3" of welded tube with a flange

In there defense that includes a new master cylinder. Still expensive.

 

Jesus!!! I can't wait to no longer pay illinois insane taxes! The house im selling there is a little under 2k sqft on not even .25ac and in a neighborhood had a $7500 per year tax bill. The place I'm under contract down here in NC is 4300sqft, .70ac lot on a golf course, $3,000. My mortgage is going to be close to what I was paying for my shit box back in illinois.

 

Seriously. A 3 bed house with a 2 car garage is 1200ish here.

 

Well you can get the adapter from a sequoia to rotate your brake booster at the firewall for about $15, just have to find one.

Or you can put an 80 series master on, which has the same size rear calipers as a sequoia and slightly beefier fronts.

I remember growing up we lived in a Pleasantville kind of suburb out here about 1hr north of LA, community about as diverse as a loaf of Wonder bread. We had these neighbors across the street, no idea where they were from but their plates were always registered in OR. Their kids were always outside in their underwear and their parents looked like zombies, obvious now that they were total speed freaks but back in 1990s suburbia we just thought they were really weird lol.

Their house looked like hell and the yard was never looked after, stuck out like a sore thumb in the neighborhood. Wonder what became of those poor kids
