Today my parents and me had to put down Molly. She was 13 years old and about to be 14 on Jan 4th. She had many tumors which eventually restricted her back leg movements and she lost alot of muscles in her legs to the point where she couldnt get up and barely walk. She lived a full life and practically grew up with me. I am extremely upset she couldnt live to see her last Christmas and 14th birthday. She is no longer in pain and is at peace. I keep praying for her and in complete shock she is gone. It broke my heart to sit there and pet her as she just looked at me with her carefree look on her face as she slowly passed on.
I dont have many pictures to post up right now, gotta get some off my SLR, all these photos are of her in her elder years
I just ask you all to pray for her

    Yes.
Sorry for your loss. The loss of my dog was horrible for me, but he was in much the same condition as your girl...

x2 I still think about my dogs every day. Just hearing about someone putting their dog down chokes me up a little.

Hang in there brother! I said it a bunch yesterday... she is in a much better place man.
Here is something a fellow TW'er posted for me when I had to put one of my animals down. I printed it off and read it each time I find myself thinking about my 4 legged companions.

    Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Eventually, I guess I know the time will come. I just wish we had more time with our pets. As long as we hold them close in our hearts, they'll always be with us.

    I'm sorry for your loss.
