Taking the beast to Mule to have them remove the front diffy drain plug that they mangled. Not cranky about it because they are so cool about making it right. Goes a long way! I want to know what magic they will use!

And I may have found a good solution for the cup holder issue in at least my 2020: I tried these sleeves which are made for Teslas--guess they are having the same problem with bottles and cups moving around in their holders too! The sleeve fits perfectly in the center console opening. It works for Dunkin' Donuts coffee cups for sure as I tried one of those first. Much more snug now. Tried the sleeve in the dual cup holder and it somewhat fits although I haven't tried a coffee cup in there with it yet. I guess I am still looking for the perfect solution but damn why didn't Toyota come up with a better solution for this? That dual cup holder is ridiculous in that the openings are kind of square...anyway, here's what the sleeves look like...

I spent around $5k on upgrades. Been done with mods for a couple of years now.

Added a Truxedo rollup tonneau cover to my SR - went with the American-made cover vs. the Chinese knockoffs with poor reviews. Very happy with the product and installation.IMG_20201023_101128_02.jpg IMG_20201023_101128_01.jpg [] []

The stock speakers are relatively impressive to me. I don't have the JBL system either. My only real complaint is the way the Tacoma does the volume. It seems like it takes a lot to adjust it, especially if it is hooked up to Bluetooth.

with the exception of the dark emblem (because advertising) this is how it should've come from Toyota.

The scrub was no big deal. My mother's side of the family resides about 25 miles south of the Cape so I practically grew up down there. I was fortunate to see Gemini IV, Gemini VI, Apollo 8, Apollo 11, Apollo 15, Apollo 17, several Shuttle launches and numerous satellite launches live. Still, seeing a launch live is awesome and something I will never tire of.

I had nothing else to do anyway, and I have an annual pass to KSC. The trip to Canaveral Seashore and getting that close to LC-39B was well worth it. I may go back tomorrow (Saturday) for the next launch attempt. If I go, and it launches, I'll post some pictures. The viewing site at the KSC visitor is only six miles from LC-40.

We have a place on the space coast. Seems like everyone in the family has been there for a launch except me. On a clear night I can see some from Wallops. Not the same as Canaveral though. Since I retired I am looking forward to a manned launch in Florida. I will def be there for that one.

Yep if you do not try to make sure you can get the input bolt out first you may be sorry you drained that device. Ask me how I know......

    Minor stuff.
I’ve never seen a launch from KSC. But Wallops is still good. The visitors center and viewing area is only 4 miles from the launch pad so it’s closer than Florida. But with the rona, it’s closed. So the last launch they had on Oct 2, we just watched it from the roof of my job in NYC. Always fun to watch a launch.

Is that a TRD Pro Army Green Taco? it didn't come with bed lights?

Also, how difficult was the tailgate e lock install?

2020 pro did not come with bedlights but did come with tailgate lock for me. It might be a 2021? You can get it in AG.

    Nah, I have a 2021 OR.

The tailgate lock wasn't too bad at all. I'd honestly say the worst part was the tedious zip tie process to get the loom down to the tailgate area from the passenger compartment.
