I’m looking at moving to Colorado for school and work after I discharge from the military. How is Fort Collins as far as scenery, off-roading, outdoor activities, weather, crime, etc?

    Currently on fire

But in all seriousness, you can’t go wrong in northern Colorado. Unless you just desperately need to be close to the Denver metro and all of its horrific suburban sprawl, but what sane person wants that?

    :D

Also, we have a thread of our own here. Post up any questions you might have.

You won't get that break. Everything that you are looking to avoid is now here in spades. And whether you mean to or not, by coming here you will contribute to the overpopulation and the associated issues. As for scenery....well, there's not going to be much left. Beetle kill, fires, drought, Aspen decline, animal decline, houses being built everywhere...the list goes on. Humanity didn't just step on it's own dick...it smashed it into bits with a hammer.

yeah understandable. Lucky for Colorado, I will not be creating any spawn to further contribute to that problem. I need to get away and start a fresh chapter. Hopefully you guys understand, I’m not trying to come and invade the state. I’m a respectful guy, I just want to enjoy the nature, start a new life and keep to myself.

I picked up Casey last night from the airport, at 11pm. Holy shit there were accidents all over, they closed i70 to 225 on ramp, 225 was closed at parker, we helped a lady that went in to the median, rolled, and took out a tree in Aurora on the way thru as well. Finally a rental ranger didn't know how to drive and lost it 3 times in front of us almost smashing the jersey barrier.

    Idiot's, idiot's everywhere

We do have a CA exchange program. For every CA person who moves here, you must send at least 4 CA/Texas/Florida people back.

Everyone's favorite - leaf springs. I've got 70k on the TSB leafs + progressive AAL. They've seen better days and they don't really like the dirtbike on the hitch carrier.

I do mild wheeling to camp, want 2-3" lift, and have a camper shell on currently. Looking at the all-pro expos or the icon RXT as far as off-the-shelf parts. Any experience with those two? Is Alcan still probably the best bet for leafs?

a lot of these cars are still sitting in the gutter today. My favorite was a gas tank with filler neck and vent lines still attached just chilling on the side of the road
