As soon as Tony has the time to weld it up for me it's on like donkey kong.

I want to figure out a way to keep the setup from rocking side to side in the receiver. That may not be that big a deal but it should be an easy fix. Maybe shims. Maybe shims and a large bolt tightened down instead of a pin. Once this thing is in the receiver it will only need to come out to use my trailer and that is rare.

My first yota was my lifted 85 Hilux, I loved that 22re & 5sp in the trails. My lifted Tacoma that i have now is a mt, sucks here in the city but I love it on the highway and in the mountains.

Anyone know of any decent mud holes near-ish to Baltimore. May plan a trip out west later in the year, but just don't really have time to drive 3+ hours each way right now.

    Mornin' Tyler! :hattip:

I thought about switching to Synth but I talked to a Pro with his pocket at his best interest and he said stick with the OEM fluids. Of course, mine is a 3rd Gen with only 12k miles on it.

I'm interested in a response to this as well... Having to drive 2-3 hours one way is definitely do-able, but somewhere closer would be preferred.

Jerry @UntamedTaco lives south of Rt 50 in that Annapolis area and he definitely is not afraid to get his truck dirty.

It's the only thing I wish I had been able to get with mine. :pout: Oh well, it still goes. :mudding:

I still feel like the 19' vs the 17' I had has a much smoother tranny and definitely doesn't hunt for gears like it did. :headbang:
Oddly, the classic fuel injector ticking noise associated with the Atkinson that was definitely prominent is non-existent now too. :notsure:

I was ready to but was scared I'd drive into a hole or a boulder. LOL The little bit I did drive into it for as short a drive as it was, was enough excitement for the first time. Next time!

He already took it on some tight & rutted trails. You left too early that Sunday morning, you missed all the fun.

I'm soooooo glad I don't have to rely on a Ford to pay my bills.

Well just got more fuckstastic news it was the same same plug they Heli coiled 2 months ago so now it’s not repairable and of course they want to put a Jasper engine due to the high mileage instead of a new head
