I just got home from work and the golden water is tasting really good.

 

I'll never forget driving through Oregon with my best friend on the I-5 when I was ~18, going through a blizzard. This a-hole in a Lancer or something like that was right on my ass because we were going pretty slow, I mean you could hardly see ahead of you and there was snow/ice all over the highway. Finally he falls back a bit then blows right by us, maybe 50 ft ahead he starts spinning out in circles and flies right off the side of the freeway into a big snow bank

Yup. I went to school for aviation bullshit, so the advice I got from the college was basically good luck finding a job.

Pre covid you wouldnt really have an issue with it if you were near the right airport. Greensboro has several aviation companies that are some of our cities biggest employers. HondaJet being one of them.

What sort of aviation thing did you go to school to learn?

Went to college to be a pilot, 9/11 happened my first week of college, so I got a business degree. I worked in airfield maintenance and aircraft ground handling since high school. Did that for a while after school, got a job at United Airlines doing OSHA safety stuff, quit united, tried safety consulting and now I work in distribution as a safety manager for a major retailer and loving life. Fuck the aviation industry, too much drama and boom and bust for me. Did it for 20yrs and I'm good on that.

Honda jet LOL, that was going to revolutionize the world back in 1999, I think they finally got a few of those piles off the ground finally.
