    If you can fabricate and weld, then BAMF shock relocation and 12” king smoothies. Nothing bolt in is going to get you more travel in the rear for that price.

    I’ll also add new rear hangers. bamf/hammer hangers and relocate is around $500, so with some less expensive shocks like bilstein 7100, he can still be under a grand.

    I feel like archive is the only way to go lol. Has the most amount of travel available. If I'm going to the trouble of cutting and welding id want to have the best possible kit. Id go archive with those bilsteins and he'd still be under a grand. Just upgrade shocks later on. Considering he can do the cutting and welding or knows someone who can do it for cheap.

    Upgrade the bushings in you leaf pack to polly instead of rubber. And do a 12" shock relocate. BAMF if you can weld, or check the group buy in my signature for a bolt on option.

    He couldn’t do both archive relocate and hammer hangers and shocks for under a grand. Just the hangers and relocate is around $800 and the shocks are $200 a pop for the bilsteins.

    Ahh didnt know he wanted to do both. If he watched for sales it might be possible?? I wouldn't compromise on a shock relocation. I plan on doing hangers first then shock relocation after that. But the shocks im going with are expensive or else id do both at same time.

    Just a quick update after about 5k miles since install the front end has gotten smoother since install. It was driving me crazy. It just needed some miles and breaking in.

    Total Chaos told me that I should be able to clear the dual bypass with 3.5bs 16" F5s and 315/75/16 (at their tacked location). I hope I dont have to run spacers in the front, when I get my dual bypass

    I really wouldn’t worry about running wheel spacers. I ran them for years without issue and still run them in the rear.

    Do what you need to do. But if you need spacers just make sure they are of decent quality and you do a good install.

    I was hoping the same thing that I would not have to run them. At this point I do have 1.25 spidertrax spacers on the front and that is with the 285/75R17's on Stealth BR6's with -38 3.5 backspace. It was just to close to rubbing on the dual bypass tubes and with off road flex I would be risking damage without them. I am not worried about spacers as I have run them hard in the desert and have had zero issues. One thing to watch for is when you weld on the RR is to mount it as close to the frame as possible so you will not rub. I had to relocate mine so as to not rub and now my tower tubes are not as pretty as they could have been if I would have put them in the right place the 1st time. Even before I added the secondary shock the edge of the rim was just to close to the lower dual shock mount with the 16 inch rims I used to have so I made the switch to 17's. Lets not forget some serious CMC to get that extra clearance.
