The allure of a Tacoma in the woods is not enough to get you to play hooky?

no worries, thought I’d ask around.

I'm sure you'll see one or 2, wave and say high. Steer clear of the Jeeps, they do stupid things out there.

Be careful, it's not crazy out there but if you're impatient you can really tear something up especially without another set of eyes.

Story as I heard it was the guy got out of the Jeep to spot someone behind him, left it running in neutral with the brake applied, but the brake slipped. He tried to get back in but got tossed aside. The girlfriend and two dogs were ejected before it rolled all the way. One dog got lost overnight and the girlfriend was airlifted out.

Yeah, it's an eye opener for sure. Hopefully she heals with a good quality of life.

Where'd you see that? The news reports I've read there was only one dog. Now from what the man reported to police was he turned the engine off and applied the parking brake. No information on if it was a manual or not. The rest yep woman was ejected just before the jeep went flying across the one video and the dog too. That was information immediately following the accident so it may have changed some of it

I originally read about the whole thing on the Reddit 4x4 sub. There are plenty of comments and links there. This is the last I will post about it.

I guess my reading is totally botched then and there are many more same story. So unless there is others that are verified I think I'll stick with this. It will be interesting as to if the man actually cut the engine off or put the brake on etc. There may be an investigation due to the injuries and costs this is the only thing in the article that I question is the man's reporting of the story to police. He's got some heavy shit to live with.

Damn! Frightening how quick a situation can go from the belief of control to something catastrophic.

Holy shit that dash cam video was super insane. That driver was only 25 feet away from being smashed. Could have resulted in a major rock avalanche too.
    Just crazy

Yeah I used to live out in Colorado that’s where my pops lives and the rock slides and drops are crazy. They bolt fence to the sides of the mountains and shot Crete things. As you go up the winding passes signs say watch for falling rocks while also maintaining your line on a windy mountain highway lol one rock can trigger a whole slue of events. Miss Colorado!
