inox translates to stainless steel in Vietnamese. I assume any stainless lubricant should be ok as long as it doesn’t leave a sticky residue?

I know I'm late but for future reference perhaps; I visited Rockler's in NH this afternoon, they had some slabs that might get your attention....

These are of an old pattern where the handle side doubles as a hook to pull out a hot oven rack and the notch pushes it back in.

Some cedars are toxic FYI. I think the aromatic is one of them

 

Right you are ! The cedar spoon is destined for my sister's bedside table for her rings.

At the same time I hate to seal them and lose their aroma !

 

So cleaned up the blade and saw that it’s wearing around the arbor hole. Any ideas what would cause that? The top blade is what I’m referring to. I didn’t have any binding or kicks or sudden blade stoppages when using it. Like I said before, used it fairly heavy for about 2 days before this happened. When it’s attached to the saw it does spin fairly freely. The bottom blade I put on does not. Bout to hit up Amazon and try to get a refund on these things lol.

 

Only thing i can think of is the blade is just thin enough to hold when you tighten the blade head down but still can turn once cutting tension is released

 

are there ways to fix that? Some sort of a thicker washer for it maybe?
