I have a 2006 Access Cab and my stock rear door speaker grills are discolored. Does anyone know if the grill are separate, or are they molded into the door panel?

    Thanks!

2006 have speakers in the access doors

Panel is panel. Pretty sure you have to replace the entire thing. Or paint it

There are most definitely speakers behind them, and no you do not use the grills which come with your replacement speakers.

Not really sure what the "grill" or rando slots cut into the OEM rear door panel being discolored has to do with anything. Second gens are what-5-14 year old vehicles?

    I've got speakers there also.......

stock (mediocre sound): 6x9 and tweeters in front doors, rear doors are 6 1/2.

The future will have Pioneer TS-A692C in front, with TS-A652F in the back doors.

Assuming you want to clean the speaker grills.

I'd suggest a bit of Simple Green, undiluted, on a cloth first. If not damage and not removing the discoloration, then try full strength. I don't believe the grills are removable from the door panel. It may be helpful to remove the door panel, then try cleaning.

    Thanks!

I was also reading that diluted vinegar works...but will also pick up some SG.

It's a weird discoloration and is only in the area of the actual circular area that matches the speaker. And it's on both sides. It literally stops at the radius and doesn't extend to the non fully perforated part of the grill.. If something splashed or rubbed on it, it would extend past the circle. (if I am making sense...too lazy to take a pic.):pumpkin:
