Fuck 2x a day unless it’s cardio and then weights. But even then.... I’ve made my best gains after learning that rest days matter a lot. Gym 4-5 times a week is plenty for strength gains as long as you’re fueling your body right. Remember. The gains come from recovery. Not the soreness.

 

Yeah, agreed. I'm lifting 3x week and everything else is active recovery. I got tired of the non-stop chronic soreness and inflammation from Crossfit. It doesn't equate to progress at all.

 

The chronic soreness is probably from the pointless movements like burpees

I'm doing 5 days right now and feeling beat up AF. Usually I do 4 but we've stepped up for comp prep. I couldn't imagine doing 2x a day.

 

Yea I’m finally at that point in training where it feels like work almost. Not as fun as it used to be. Now there’s actual goals to reach so it’s hunker down time.

 

Yep. My life revolves around training, nutrition/meal timing, and rest and recovery. It'll be nice to see the payoff though

 

I am at 5x a week but with lowered volume and my elbows still hurt like hell all day. 2x a day is for people on the good drugs. And even then....

that’s basically what my 2xdays are. “Croasfit stuff” so more or less cardio in the AM and lifting (Oly and whatever else) in PM. But only 5 days on, one ac I’ve recovery day and one do nothing day

I do. I mean I like chest hair but not like when dudes look like they come with their own sweaters.

Once you actually have the experience of waxing your asshole you all of a sudden get over that self conciousness.

I’m one of those folks who doesn’t like a cleanly shaven neather region. It looks a little prepubecent to me. But some guys are very stuck upish about everything being waxed and bleached. Good for them.
