Brand new Remington 700 short action receiver, was shipped to Chad at Long Rifles Inc, where it had Tier 1 blueprinting done, along with pinned recoil lug accommodations, 8/40 optic base holes, tig and timed bolt handle, with tactical stainless LRI bolt knob.

Additionally, this action is mated up with a Nightforce NF-MT-NF700120-A115 scope base that costs $120.00 all on it's own.

This is the perfect base action for a 6.5 Creedmor, 6 Comp Match, 6 Creedmor, .308, 260, or anything that uses a .308 sized bolt face. This is the 3rd one of these I have had done by LRI. There is a reason this is the 3rd, and that reason is that other 2 are tack driving phenoms when I do my part.

LRI is 100% correct when they say that a trued Remington 700 action based rifle is every bit as accurate as one built on a boutique action. I have both and I confirm this to be true.

Anyway, as with my other sales, this is in my personal collection of things that were going to be built, but due to current economic conditions, I will not be able to finish any time soon.

I am looking to recover what I have in to it. You can get this now, without the 12 week wait that seems to be the norm everywhere in the industry right now.

If you need a barrel blank, I have a brand new Kreiger .30 cal (308) 10 twist, stainless, "Heavy Varmint" profile, @ 29-1/4" (to finish at 28" or less) in hand that I can include for an additional $350.00

The action will come with a stock Remington 700 trigger if you want one brand new in the bag.

Keep in mind, that this action is/was brand new when shipped to LRI. The wear you see on the action is from tooling and chucking it up in the lathe(s) for the processes it went through during blueprinting. This action is intended to be fitted to the barrel of your choice and then either cerakoted or finished just the way you want it.

This is the Mega Arms MATEN. I am thinning my personal herd due to covid killing my industry and being out of work sucks.

This is a DPMS style lower receiver, which requires a DPMS style upper receiver be mated to it. Mega Arms MATEN (DPMS style) upper receivers can still be had for right at $295.00 BNIB.

Mega Arms made the finest AR uppers and lowers on the planet. It is a shame they sold out to Zev, but they did. These things are getting scarce, and if I had the funds, I would build this out, but that day will come again in due time.
