TRD Pro grill

Any brands to stay away from? Local guy is selling this and I’m thinking about jumping on it.

I have a 2020 TRD Off road.

 

For $100 bucks I would definitely take a chance on it.

 

Won’t work your camera is actually located behind the Toyota emblem on the 20. You will need to recalibrate your TSS otherwise u will get error codes .

 

no front facing camera for me. So it should work then right?

 

Yes, it should work fine. The grille will fit. You just may have to tinker with the possible sensor errors or, as mentioned, recalibrate. Hoping everything just works as expected.

the gaps are big on those cheap Chinese grilles

I meant the sensor (radar )for collision detection is behind the emblem .

I have a 2017 without TSS!

 

Looks like you will need garnish cover bro. I got mine- had some error codes in the beginning- knock on wood not anymore and works / looks fine

 

I got mine for $99, no issues 5 months later.

 

The TSS sensor is behind the emblem in earlier models too, you just have to relocate it to the Pro grill location when installing the new grill.

 

No need to physically recalibrate, the sensor will do this by itself. Might take a few days. Mine was throwing error codes for a couple of days the went away. I tried the dynamic cruise it all works.
