Tpms sensors, pfft. I haven't had those since about 6 months after I bought my truck. It only took me 4yrs to get rid of the warning light on the dash tho.

I was originally hoping after 4yrs the LED would burn out but no dice.
Yeah, I never get it right on the first or even the second try! 3rd times a charm or just shithouse luck. :D

It might be different in the later years, but my tpms module was located in the lower portion of the dash behind the cigarette lighters. I removed it, but that alone doesn't turn the light off. If anything, if your light wasn't on previously, and you pull the module, it will illuminate. The green + feed wire needs to be cut and taped to prevent accidental shorting, and the blue wire on the tpms module plug needs to be intercepted grounded to cancel the light. The wiring harness end of the cut is grounded, not the plug end.

This is the post I followed for my 06

So I’m considering selling or trading in my Taco and was wondering if y’all had some ideas on value? I think KBB has stock truck value of my truck around $27k. I’m not sure which where to go price wise and could use some in put. 817C6E0A-1376-43AB-A5AB-A67538EEF24A.jpg

I'll say it, "Aftermarket parts don't add value!!" There, now that that's out of the way, honestly, that's probably in the ball park of what to expect for private party. With the price of used 3rd gens in reach for a few grand more or even brand new base models at or just below $35k you might have a hard time convincing someone to buy a 2013 vs a 2016/17/brand new Tacoma if you priced it over $30k. :notsure:

Ask for the moon but unless you're in a hurry to sell, I'd imagine you'd have plenty of inquiries priced at $30k obo. Just gotta weed through the tire kickers and flakes. I definitely wouldn't take less than what kbb says. :.02:

I will say, the double cab is typically the most valuable of the Tacoma's. To the right person that is wanting to start a build and use it as a platform to go with you'd probably get a bit more as they'll see the parts you've already invested into it and see the benefit vs dropping $10k on bumpers winch sliders etc...

Cool, I wasn’t even thinking that high but...... Toyota of lake city was talking $26k for trade without seeing it.

Also, yes the mods don’t really mean shit. I just find it hard to believe I could sell it for close to or as much as I paid for 5 years ago.

I added a bit more about it being more attractive to someone wanting to start an overland build. With what you've got going, bumpers sliders, winch, roof rack etc... Someone in that scenario would see the benefit.

Snorkel pfft automatic +$3k to the price point and 10 EAF points. I'd maybe tone down the disco ditch lights tho.. o_O

Oh you know, I’m bored, it’s getting cramped for 2 kids and 2 soon to be three big ass dogs. I have a reservation for a new Bronco and had planned on keeping the taco but I think I don’t really want either anymore.

Oh come on! At least it’s not 17 light bars and 20” rims with 32” mud terrains.

They’re gone. For at least a year now. I almost feel bad for the kid that bought them. I did get them all replace under warranty first so the fronts were brand new and the rears were only like 2 months old. No more arb products for me thanks.

Shit! Paging @PNW/TRD Steve where'd ya go? :anonymous::boink:

Oh, I think I see what happened. Or what led up to, shoots, a perma ban or a month + vacation?

And seems like a perma ban, profile no longer exists.
