that was a fun day in the valley with some of the NSBS Crew, We need to do it again, now that the trees are changing colour.

 

I took a group of guys to this spot last summer or the summer before... 5 of us went I think it was. This is like 10 mins from my house. LOL that's the pic from our run that D2 posted above

I was going to organize the same run we did last time with one extra trail in the center that is good and muddy but can be bypassed if people don't want to hit some mud... But I got lazy and Covid... I'm off today and tomorrow and am thinking about running out to the old Teleglobe satelite place tomorrow. If there's interest in a valley run I'm in

I'd love to get back out there, or anywhere, in fact. I moved here at the end of Feb and then lockdown hit, that was my first "off road" experience with the Tacoma since I bought it in May of last year.

I found that spot just driving along the northern coast toward the west. Brought the drone, so snagged some pics (already added) and vids:

Where are you located @uno? I'm in Greenwood if you ever want to go for a rip I can show you some quick local runs plus I can show you some nice spots out south as well. I've also got a DJI drone... an older one but it does what I need it to do. I've been making some videos of the local trails lately, just learning how to edit them together in a way that I like and then I'll try posting them on my Youtube channel maybe.

did a little "rock crawling" today


Just kidding. Doing a little work at the scouts cabin at Miller Lake, decided to see how far in I could get with the tools (in reverse because there is no where to turn around in there!)

Edit: added quotation marks because I am aware this does not count as actual rock crawling - we did have to stack some rocks to get out of that creek bed but only because I was reversing and my hitch was about to spear into the bank lol

 

nice! , I haven't been there in years.. but then again, its been a while since I was a cub leader. Heading up to camp this weekend with my taco. may even try a river crossing with it lol...

 

Hasn't changed much. A little overgrown now no one's been allowed in there for 6 months

Sad to see the Supra go, I'll never forget the night you gave me a lift home from the ER after the tricycle incident.

I love those supras but they are basically impossible to find without 50% rust.
I feel like it should be further back on the trailer. Looks like a lot of tongue weight.
