I had a 1937 Dodge Brothers sedan with the suicide doors and the badge said Dodge Brothers and not just Dodge. The tube radio took 3 to 4 minutes to warm up before it came on. The really nice thing is that the 6 volt battery never failed to start the flathead 6 cylinder engine even on the coldest winter days in Wisconsin. It was all original and wish I still had it.

F750C0F1-15EE-4023-B02E-7FE83383447B.jpg After reading some posts about wind and traffic cab noise, I decided to put my own twist on a fix. My 2020 had this “swiishhhh” noise by my ear every time another vehicle passed. I got two different kinds of adhesive backed rubber molding. One of the kits was on Amazon with 50’ for $16. I cleaned the doors and positioned the molding between the current door seal and the doors. Basically it makes the current door seal thicker. Simple install in 10-15 minutes. The result is definitely quieter in the cab. Even closing the doors sounds more air tight. In the process I also noticed that the top corners of each door seal have black gasket Rubber cement on them. Five month old vehicle and that glue had already released, not that there was enough glue applied to begin with. I also applied more gasket glue to reseal the corners.

My doors already have two layers of sound deadening/dampening. Inside and out.

I want to also stick some MLV in the door card, but worried there won't be enough space.

Kind of an update from my previous:

Got the Sig holster in the mail from Alien Gear now I can have a choice.

Of course they detach quick and can mount to a another mount style (paddle/OWB/MOLLE/etc), too.

For the buckets of sand? Haha well I just took a look in the shed and found some old buckets then scooped some sand from the river into them.

Installed an icon stage 4 kit today. Also got a set of 4runner wheels and had them powder coated bronze and mounted a set of 285/70/17 KO2's along with them. Love how everything came out. Just waiting on center caps to get painted. 20201024_161320.jpg

Bolted on Husky mud flaps for rear end yesterday, and got some rainy day feedback this morning. After seeing the amount of mud slung up on my front doors & side steps, I plan to install the front mud flaps soon.:mudding:
