My neighbor helped me. He has to work tonight, so just had time for 1 spring and getting the ARB out of the truck. We'll get the last spring in when he gets off in the morning. I'm not as frustrated now

My neighbor is gonna help. I had to sit on the frame while he pulled on the spring. It popped right in that way, so I'm confident it won't be bad tomorrow.

Well it ended up being a nice afternoon. Our spot next to the water isn’t to bad either.

 

Welp I got a $180 ticket from the game warden at 600-1 today. Those side roads aren’t legal. He said he could have written a $500 “destroying federal property” ticket but gave me a driving on unauthorized federal property or something. It’s ok I understand, wish there was some signs to let me know. Still was a fun foggy day!

Yeah I agree. Pretty questionable if no signs at all.

 

Yea, I would take pictures of where that trail split off from the main trail. If it’s not posted, you shouldn’t have to pay. That’s on them for not marking the trail.

 

Probably just unlucky, there’s probably been complaints. How was trash there?

id fight it too. Even if you don’t win you could bring up a case for signs to be put up.

 

I was there Wednesday and emptied the only garbage can on trail (@ Sherman Cliffs) and added a new bag. Hopefully it wasn't full again in 3 days hah

 

Was the Warden Cliff Robertson?

 

I would be careful in fighting it. They might gate the whole road.

 

It takes a little more than that and many many many very public issues for it to get closed. It took the environmentalists almost 20 yrs to get tellico closed. What it will do is actually get budget there to properly signage the road.

 

There are maps readily available that should be looked at before we start running down trails. There are a lot of people trying to stop / limit off-road recreation and they don’t need any fuel.
