I know there have got to be some other YMH fans here keepin' it high and tight. So follow proto and let's talk about it. I've been blasting through the back catalog of this show since finding it early this year. I had loved Tom's stand up for years but somehow never stumbled across the podcasts. Man, it sure has made a shitty 2020 a little bit better. I've made my wife watch a few episodes and she's kind of into it, but not enough for me to be able to drop all the inside references I want to on her.

Yeah, 2 bears is GREAT, and I've been going through all of those too. I love Bert, but he definitely overpowers Tom on 2B1C. That said, I bought the pass to watch the 2B1C XXL live event and HOLY SHIT.

Tom and Christina's relationship and chemistry really shines through on YMH. But I definitely get it. It's over the top.

I haven't heard of Time Suck but will check one out on the way home. 2 hours of commuting has definitely given me more podcast time in the last few years. Do you have a particular episode that you think would be a good place to start, or just pick one?

 

I think I'll start with the Golden State Killer episode. I love different perspectives on that one. I tried to get into the last Podcast on the Left but couldn't do it. It's so popular though, I might have to try again.

 

I love the long format stuff. The only thing I don't like about YMH is how visual it is. I can't be tearing up and down the road watching youtube.

I was listening to 2b1c and Dr Drew afterdark religiously but i've been slackin.

Look at this pig with tits. I’ve only done highlights of Dr. Drew after Dark. Once I catch up on the YMH and 2B1C back catalog that’s next. I’ve love Dr. Drew since Loveline. I actually went back and listened to a ton of Loveline last year. It’s on YouTube. I’ll check out Potter’s Roach Motel. I started an episode and wasn’t hooked in the first 20 minutes. But that was the first episode. I’m sure it would grow on me. He’s pretty funny.

 

Old Loveline is the best.
Some of the shit Adam can could up with on the fly is amazing.
