I’m pretty sure that’s my bow. I have one that my sisters ex gave me. He was 14 when he got it. He’s 6’4 or something now and I’m 5’9.. so it fits me just fine. A quick draw and weight adjustment and it’s been shooting straight with no problems.

    Good luck Chuck:thumbsup:

I'm out of action for a few days.
Friday I was at the Yamaha dealer getting my new 4wheeler.
While lowering/raising the ramp on the trailer I reinjuried my right elbow. This goes back 20 years when I was running V6 crankshafts at work. Can’t pull my bow back now. If I take things easy for few days I'll be good. I have the first 2 weeks of November off.
Hate to say it, but maybe it's time for a crossbow.

If you only need a few days to recover.. you can’t be that old! Don’t submit to the crossbow just yet! Lol.

Hard to tell, but what a shitty day out. Just about 40° when I got out, but started raining as soon as I sat down. Wasn't supposed to start for several hours, so I didnt have rain gear, just a shell that started leaking at every seam.
I only made it till 930:(

Aww that’s irritating. Sorry to hear it. Is it supposed to rain the rest of the day? No chance for an afternoon hunt?

Oof yep that blows. I don’t go out without rain gear even on days it’s not predicted. Never know when you’ll need it lol

Ha! I’ve been there before

I was a wilderness guide for years and experienced that mistake more than once.

Close I guess, but maybe not the same one?
Edit: upon further inspection I see it says 30-40 lbs. so this one must be the next size up or something since it’s draw is up to 70 lbs or something.
I’m out for an evening hunt. Got out here way too late. I hate when I get to the parking spot and realize I’m probably just wasting my time. Lol

    Fair enough!
I talked to the neighbor and he said he’s been only taking trophy bucks out of his property for the last twenty years. But I’m right on his fence line and I got no idea what he’s talking about since I haven’t seen any yet. He texted me the other day and let me know there was some activity in his cell cams. Said he had two small bucks, one was a 4 point and one 8 point.

Thanks Dan. I’m off the next two weeks. Nothing wrong with crossbows, I’m using both this year. Rest up and get out there, later this week it should be getting good.
