I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. You need to draw a 3-D object for an AutoCad class and you don't know how to use AutoCad? How can we help?

I wasn't sure if he meant that or he was blaming the prof on his inability to know how to use it.

I am a very proficient engineer/draftsman. I would love to help but have no idea what you are trying to accomplish. Please elaborate on what exactly you have and what exactly you need. Feel free to PM me too.

Have you thought about Google Sketch-up? It's very easy to create 3-D images, is user friendly and free! If it doesn't have to be AutoCAD this might be a good option. Do you have AutoCAD on your computer or even have access to it?

I use AutoCad and Inventor everyday at work. I'm not sure as others have posted exactly what it is your wanting to accomplish.
To make it look like that in AutoCad would take quite a bit of rendering work.

That too. Was trying to use some of the more simple stuff for him. Extrude could be used in there also. Many ways to accomplish the same thing :p

Ok sorry guys....I know the VERY VERY basics of autocad and the project must be completed in autocod and not in another program. My teacher is a terrible teacher and 6 people have just stopped coming to class because they just gave up. I am worried its due on tuesday of next week and i dont know where to start. I honestly can make like a simple box maybe some SUPER simplie 2D things and thats about it. I dont want to say i need someone to do it for me, or make a video of them doing it and let me watch it and try to follow the steps but i dont know how else im going to learn this in time. I can "use" autocad i guess, but i cant make those shapes i just dont know the processes.

No it has to be a 4 part 3d drawing. I have a couple but the teacher would never believe that you was the one to draw them because they are rather complex.
Do you have dimensions on that part you posted in the first post, because without dimensions it is hard to get it proportioned right.
