    A replay review on a catch/no catch call does not initiate the run off. Your rule comprehension is off. It’s not an easy one to understand. I just spent quite a bit of time trying to understand it but I still don’t fully get it.


    Edit: If there is no reversal, the game and play clock will continue from where they were at the point of interruption (but no less than 10 seconds on play clock) on the ready-for-play signal.

    But why was the clock at 4 seconds? The replay happened at 9. My contention is they RAN the spike play and then the officials time traveled back to before that play.

    That’s fair. So they should have had 9 seconds then instead of the 4 seconds. But you were also saying the replay should have wound the clock down, which is wrong. The timing of the clock though is off and no explanation for that.

    Strange. I wonder if the refs got the call to review and took a few seconds to get the word to the field? I don't recall them winding the clock back after upholding the catch.
