Do you have first hand experience with these? Do they feel pretty solid when installed? I know you are thinking, how could a hood strut not feel solid, but I have seen some pretty flimsy mounting brackets at my day job, so just figured I would ask. Are

Many of us have RedLine hood struts. Easy install and excellent performance along with excellent customer service.
Thought you might want to have another option available to you.

 

Fabricated two backstop brackets from Hillman P/N 853857 corner braces. They'll prevent the Extang Encore tonneau rails from sliding rearward when off-roading.

 

Discovered on the trail that the "QUhang" Chineseium breaker consistently trips at well under its rated current, rendering my compressor unusable. Replaced it with an

$49 Bussmann (BP/CB185-100) 100 Amp Circuit Breaker

Eaton P/N BP/CB185-100 breaker, and fabricated a bracket out of a Simpson P/N A88 angle tie.

 

Hope you got the problem resolved. Got mine from the dealership and all the hardware and brackets were included. They should take care of this for you.

 

The ones on eBay are overpriced. Get them from Amazon. Mounting is solid they use existing holes so no drilling needed. Love mine.

 

How good was your deal and is the promotion over? Seems like I read where it ended on the 30th or 31st but may be wrong. Also that some were trying to get a match for Hooke or DV8 rack.

the 4x4 was the most annoying. Love MESO and appreciative of the mods but it was annoying maybe a 8/10

Use the old one for practice and then buy a new one; they're cheap. Friends' house just burnt down, killing their mother/mother-in-law. Started just outside the kitchen. Mother/mother-in-law saw it and was able to call it in before she got knocked out by the smoke. Remember to aim at the base of the fire when you use the extinguisher.
