@Empty_Lord, dude on the 4runner forum is making a short bed tundra. 2005, like yours but in white.

 

i genuinely considered it. but i needed a work truck.. i may do a short bed tundra one day. i LOVE how this truck drives. shorter would make it better

 

Just put a quality oil in it and stop worrying

 

Looks kinda goofy like that. Be cool to bob the bed after that and make it really short. Be way better for wheeling.

 

These trucks loom funny with the 8 ft bed and no cap. I think as a short bed it looks great. The wheels are what ruin the look. I had the same ones on mine remember?

 

Don't need to worry about manual trans temps really. Not like autos with ATF

 

Yeah, they fugly. The single cab shortbed just looks goofy to me, like it got squished a little. It's wheelbase is 2" shorter than my 4Runner.

 

the bumper missing doesnt help.

 

the wheels helped so much making it look better to me.


but the cap really makes it look better for sure (ignore seat belt hanging out the door because toyota retractors suck)

 

Looks like he got the cab to bed gap a little tight. Might run into issues down the road like that.

 

probably not, depending on the angle the bed gap looks super tight because the bed kinda hugs the cab

 

Yeah, those wheels and the cap certainly help a lot. Truck looks way better like that.
