I'm usually there around 9 at the outpost. Yeah it's a small park and you can watch the hard trail from another trail or area. There are easier bypass trails around the harder ones.

real question is wtf are those!? Yes, the Trans American Trail or as the pathfinder says, the TAT. Given its name, obviously trails that connect the east to west by means of off/on-road trails. Don’t believe they are any difficult as the can be done with an adventure bike but eager to find out!

There was an unusual amount of police cars around the lake norman area today. They are everywhere...

People literally pull over into turning lanes and bike lanes... why

A little trip report from last week.
Criss crossed the majority if the NC coast to the tune of about 1200 miles. Averaged around 18mpg.
Drove on the 3 diff beaches and 2 islands (topsail and the north banks of the OBX (corolla)

Caught a few new PB's, saw some wild horses and had a hell of a time. The turd gen didnt let me down.

Topsails a nice place for sure. Got some decent fish there last week. Water was still a little to warm to be great but it will get there. We were on north topsail but would go into surf city for bait, dinner etc.
