Unfortunatly at this point i almost just need someone to do it :( i am going nuts with all my finals coming up in 3 days i took this class because i wanted to learn autocad and we ended up just learning freaking vocab type stuff and dimemsioning all year and only had one test. So if i cant come up with something good for this i will fail the class and have to move back to atlanta :(

if anyone is really good with the program, the greatest help would be to make it for me and use a screen recorder to record the process then just send me the video that way i could get it done on my own, and that would be a great way for me to understand the software better. who know i might also learn SOMETHING...and demsions are not important to the project its all up to me as what i want them to be.

No, sorry it doesn't work like that. Inventor can convert autocad files to Inventor files but not the other way around.

The reason i asked for dimensions is because it is more difficult to make up your own dimensions because you have to keep everything looking somewhat proportional.

you're not going to learn autocad overnight. trust me.

is this a college class? if so, go to your department head and explain the situation. things could work out in your favor.

i had a college class - sort of an intro to surveying - that was taught by a guy who was about to retire. no one signed up for his normal classes (GIS/GPS) so they just sort of gave him random classes to teach for his last semester. well the subject required that the students know the basics of trigonometry - i was the only one in the class who had taken trig, he never bothered to ask if anyone knew trig and just went on his merry way with the daily classes. we all sat around with blank looks on our faces as this guy went through class each day and you could tell that he didn't care one bit that no one was following him. after class everyone would go to the student commons and i would explain what he just attempted to teach...i was teaching the frickin class in my free time! i didn't mind so much at first but then it started to be a strain and i went to my department head. once i explained that this guy was a joke and didn't care one way or another if anyone passed or failed this required course he was out the door on his way to early retirement and they found a replacement.

its a little late in the semester for you but its still worth a shot - if you're paying for this course you better get your money's worth! don't be afraid to stand up and speak your mind. just be sure you do it in a mature manner and have lots of examples to back up your story.

OK would anyone be willing to do this for me!?!?!?! i spent all last night trying to figure this crap out and failed. It is due Tuesday and i cant do this i am begging you guys i would even pay you. I know this is bad and it was the last thing i wanted to do trust me. I wanted to try to learn this but its just not going to happen in a week. All i need is a simple pulley system like the one in the original post with only 4 parts total, so if you just took out the little nuts and washers in the draft to only have 4 parts total it would be perfect. The dimensions and everything are up to you. I just need a 4 piece 3d draft of anything and i figured a pulley system would be easy.

    Please guys
    Skyler
