If you look closely I want to say it looks like there's a drop-down bracket look at the nut and bolt we're he control arm would be look where the bump stop would be

Oh yeah I think you may be right, a lot of people talking about the spring being collapsed but wouldn’t it be smashed like that with 6 inches wedged in there? Or is the drop bracket supposed to correct that someway?

I’m serious lol I don’t know a lot about 6 inch lifts don’t they alter the line with the drop bracket? And spindles?

Yeah a drop bracket drops the bottom attachment point for the lower control arms, then a spacer "extends" the factory shock to fill in the "gap" so that the stock uper and lower control arms maintain a "factory" geometry just separated 6 more inches now, the last piece of the puzzle is then extending the spindle to also fill in the "gap" as you can see here it's done with a "grenade" spacer typically they're done with lift spindles but this isn't an option as far as I'm aware with the Tacoma for 4WDs.

    This is the problem.

"I want to lift my truck but the budget is $300".

Then you ain't liftin' your truck.

It's not worth it to fuck with anything less than new coilovers, new shocks, add-a-leaf at minimum (new leaf packs better by far).

And to really do it correctly, you're gonna need to extend your brake lines and upgrade your control arms to allow for recovery of lost downtravel in the suspension so it doesn't ride like a pile of ass over potholes.

agreed. There is a difference between lifting you vehicle for bigger tires and putting a true suspension lift on your vehicle that works off-road.
you could put spacers on and get an alignment for $300.
If you went full budget, a proper 2-3" lift would be $1,500 still
    bilstein 5100s
    coils
    top hats
    extended front brake lines
Upper control arms (recommended but not necessary)
diff drop (again, recommended but not necessary)
    leaf springs
    longer rear shocks
extended bump stops to protect shocks
    extended rear brake line
    e-brake ext.
    alignment

Looks like you installed the bump stop spacer in the ball joint. There's no bump stop it looks like on your truck right now.

You guys are silly, a spacer doesn’t cost 300$. I think I spent 80 on mine.

And I know you don’t want to admit it, but a spacer will work for 90% of the people on this site. They just aren’t as likely to get a big gram following.

"Will work" and "done right" tend to be far apart. I recommend high standards.
