I'm thinking the moisture played a part in that. I was kind of questioning why they were running after seeing it on the first restart.

I think you're right. Hamlin slid up the track at one point too. Sucks because the whole right side of 4 is wiped out from sliding up into the wall, but I think as long as they can avoid tire rub he will wheel it back to the front. He's good at Texas and he needs the win.

 

I missed everything this weekend except for the last few laps in the truck race and whoooooo boy! Drama heading to Martinsville.

 

I don't think he needs any more wins. He is good enough on points to just need a halfway decent finish. I mean, even at 38th he was 8 points above.

 

I like Eckes, but I didn't see what happened leading up to the intentional wreck.

I don't think so, but the camera shot did look dry when I checked a little while ago.

Thanks! Sounds like the Air Titans are running. I just checked r/NASCAR and someone said the Air Titans had run out of fuel. Those machines are so much more effective than the old blower method. I've read somewhere before that Juan Pablo Montoya was one of the developers/investors/owners of the Air Titan system.

EDIT: One of the Air Titans just broke down on the backstretch. The track looks pretty dry except for the bottom lane. Perhaps I'll get to listen to the race while I cut my grass today.

EDIT 2: Air Titans went by again and the track looks pretty dang soaked. The jet dryers just pulled off the track.

 

I had heard around 2:30 that they were hoping for 3 hours if the weather held out at the time.

Probably Thursday. At least that's what I heard, but said person may have been facetious. I've heard the forecast is for rain/mist pretty much all week.
