Thanks man, I like the look of 16’s but decided to go 17 just in case I ended up going with a BBK down the road. And here I am, down that very road.

Did the intermittent wiper mod, a necessity in mixed precipitation and fog in Maine. A bit more of a war taking the column covers off than the directions suggested. Why this was not standard even in base trucks is hard to figure.

I just put the rope guard on my Flatlink E today, then went and used the winch for the 1st time!

Did not realize how excited I would be to get the winch mounted and working.

    :yay:

The last couple winters have been pretty mild so we’re about due for another banger like that record breaking, roof shoveling winter a few years back. I’m inheriting a new top of the line snowblower that comes along with our new home so I wouldn’t be too annoyed if I got to use it once or twice.:D

Watch that locking pin on the Ultra hook. Mine was sticking out halfway after driving around for a while, luckily I caught it in time. You can put a piece of electrical tape over it or do what i did. Insert it in from the reverse side (no pun intended)

ARB is crash tested (mandatory in Australia). That's why my buddy went with an ARB.
Not sure if any other bumpers are crash tested...
