I think Im going to wire my 6 probe cooking thermometer to various points in my engine tomorrow. I need to know if my engine gets up to pizza temps or if it stays at brisket temps like I suspect. Maybe I can toast a nice cuban torta for lunch.

 

Or you know what might be a better use for it, remove the ice and add some water which will heat up during the day in the sun. Then before heading home, dump your dirty drawers in there with some laundry detergent.

The best bit that I saw posted was that the factory used those locations as lift points in the factory. When the factory tooling was changed and those lift points were no longer needed, the pockets were deleted.
