Oh my place is across the bridge from N. Topsail in Sneads ferry you didn't need to go all the way there for your bait. The shrimp lady usually posts up down there by the food lion.

Yep between my aunts farm and that place with my grandpa I never spent my summers at home. Fished the king mack and reddish tournaments down there. Love that place many fond memories. I just wish it had stayed small and not gotten so built up

I grew up going to oak island during my summers. It might as well be a Island retirement home lmao but decent flounder, red, and whiting in the intercostal and the flats around Carolina beach state park

Yeah we were rednecks and went, still do, flounder gigging. I go shrimping with my neighbor sometimes. But across the ICW there is an awesome estuary and man the tailing red's and specs are awesome to catch there. Sometimes we'll get a sheepshead or 2. Usually catch a bunch of pins and stuff and set crab pots out and have a crav boil

Gigging is fun as HELL I haven’t been since I was a kid but yes that it one of the best “fishing” experiences ever truly a good time. And flounder are one of the best tasting fish in the planet. Use their head for the crab pots and sit on the beach, beer in hand and wait..

Ammo score over the weekend, Academy. they may still have, worth a call. have been trying to find 5.56 for some time now.

Academy, Kannapolis, Saturday, found a pallet stowed away up front, they are selling it at customer service. winchester green tips, 200 round boxes, limit 3, $~90 / box.

Academy, Sunday, Concord Mills, customer service had plenty of 9, and 5.56 in green tip, and FMJ boxes. picked up 2 FMJ boxes winchester white box (200 rd box), limit 3, ~$80 / box.

not great prices, but considering that I have seen none in months, I stocked up to get me through.

I did backside in an all time awd GC on 5100's. my T4R has more ground clearance, so I figured I'd be ok inside my comfort zone. Really interested to see how it does with my M/T setup

Not envious of you sir, but I'm sure that view on the back porch makes it a little better. I'll be the lucky SOB to be moving in January when it's cold AF

I will never move my own shit again!!

I'm feeling it this week between my annoying neighbors in the apartment I'm in, crappy bed in said apartment, selling and buying simultaneously and starting a job with 2 sites almost 3hrs apart, it's finally hitting me!!

Or I'm coming down with the black death known as COVID.

Yeah we are super happy with the house, just been a ton of work. Should have gotten movers but when closings were delayed the schedule was just too up in the air. Plus some of the quotes I got were crazy.

Sunrise was pretty nice this morning though. And took one of the pups out fishing last night.
