Just bought my dream truck!

    Hi Everyone!
    Just picked up my dream truck yesterday (2021 Lunar Rock Tacoma Trd Pro 6MT); super excited to join the forum and learn things as I go!

    My story is I've been wanting a Tacoma for quite some time now. I've always wanted the Army Green Trd Pro but recently have not been able to find one in 6MT and I've been searching for months. I almost caved in on an Army Green O/R but the manual one I wanted was going for 44k which was almost the same as a Pro. My wife saw a Lunar Rock in person and she loved the color even more than the AG so I decided to take a look at one and I started to like the color myself! (my 2nd choice color after AG but it's starting to grow on me more day by day)

    I started to actively search for a LR Pro in 6MT. I would search 2-3 times a day and as soon as one pops up within a 500 mile radius; it was either sold or on reserve. I had multiple salesmen from all over CA keep an eye on one and to contact me if one ever pops up. I eventually found one in Southern CA but they wanted a whopping 15k markup on theirs which places it at $64k before taxes. I told them there was no way in hell I would pay over MSRP.

    After about a month I finally found a dealer in WA that would sell theirs for MSRP. I placed a deposit this past Friday, hopped on a plane Saturday, and drove her back to CA by Sunday evening. She had 1mile on her ODO and now has over 800 miles in just 2 days of driving. Super stoked to finally have my dream truck and the journey has been well worth it!

    I have no plans to modify my truck; just lots of plans for adventure! Looking forward to learning many things on this forum and hopefully meet some Taco owners!
