    I got one on the camry, it takes a lot more than a curb at the parking lot to get I ran over a curb at 30 one time at 3am just trying to see how fast I could possibly drive

    Technically yeah you mean the shocks. If you notice more sway than usual that could mean one or both is bad. Unless it's puked out it's oil it's not always easy to know when they are bad until they're really bad

    If it is on your truck, in the front, it's a coilover, which consists of a strut and a coil combined.

    Is your strut leaking? Body roll wouldn't dramatically increase from a bad strut... you would just have less dampening.
