So I found a local bike company here in Arlington VA called cobalt bikes. Their gravel bike looks almost identical to my salsa warbird. I’m wondering if they are made in the same factory.

@ginseng27 wasn't far off when he said that Giant makes most of the bike frames across brands made overseas. There's a good chance it was.

Yeah it makes sense. I know I’ve seen the no name carbon bikes on pinkbike. This is the first company I’ve seen selling what looks like those bikes. They look pretty solid though.

That is gold. I saw that locally in Walnut Creek - they moved them on top of the parking garage. Should have a bike demo day right next to them

Has anyone run the Onza Porcupines? Thinking of trying them out so I can roll skinwall on my purple 5010.

Nope. Another local buyer. Guy obviously got hammered with messages. It was originally posted at $3800, which is actually a fair price for that bike/build. He then went to $4100, but said he’d honor the previous price for local. I missed the punch.

18.5” top fuel with 2.4 tires. My medium hard tail goes at a slight angle. I posted pics of that earlier

You know what I'd say... I have no problems with the Rascal, they use the CBF which is awesome. But that Druid... there's a reason those are lusted after.

This review from Enduro is excellent, and really shines a light on the bike well. My only reservation is the seat angle, but being shorter means I can just scootch the saddle up and it's fine.

It is surprising / not surprising about not just bikes in places like Taiwan. Taiwan is really not that big, and there are many companies there that have specialties that they are actually very good at.

Even my UK designed Pipedream frame was made at ORA I believe, along with a bunch of other steel and Ti bike brands.
