After a long awaited 14 weeks my Softtop Truss finally arrived! Frank and Drew were both very helpful and responsive to all of my anxious calls over the weeks. Unfortunately the headaches didn't end there.... When starting the build up of the rack I noticed that the pre-drilled holes in the upright legs were not pre-tapped as described by the instructions from the website. Not a huge issue as tapping an aluminum hole is like spreading melted butter on freshly burnt toast. When finally getting to the step of reinstalling my softtop I found that the inner most part of the upright legs wouldn't allow for my topper to fit!! Yes I did order the correct Truss system for over a softtopper. After trying to refit the topper and the rack (and about a 6-pack of beer) I decided to pull out the portable bandsaw to chop some notches in the legs. Much success!! I will say that this rack is very well designed and well built! These speedbumps wont be enough to keep me from ordering the Alpha rack come spring (or maybe winter if lead times are still crazy). Keep up the awesome products @upTOPoverland

The Prinsu molle panel for their roof rack, happens to fit perfectly on the "Fresh Air" orthogonal load bars.
    https://caliraisedled.com/products/prinsu-roof-rack-mounted-molle-gear-panel

I am planning to fit my MaxTrax there and build an acrylic fairing to sit in front of them. The UpTOP MaxTrax mounts don't work between the FreshAir bars over the sunroof for this same mounting position. So I won't really get the benefit of the molle other than just having lots of options of how/where to secure the MaxTrax there.

EDIT: So the MaxTrax do fit here, but they stick forward over the load bar, so that would not leave room to mount a fairing to the front channel of said load bar, as planned. Still pondering the best layout here.

Does it seem like that load panel would fit nicely on the regularly spaced bars?

There are a few different brands of these same panels on CaliRaised. Find the ones with the best dimensions and I am sure one of them would fit. Not sure how exactly, I think the slot to slot (front to back between two bars) on my racks was around 11.5". So a 12" length panel should fit nicely.

Will a Thule Cargo box work on the UpTOp Bravo for the Double cab? What is the clearance from the roof to the cross bar on the rack? Also, what is the average install time for the Bravo?

Installed mine this weekend. I centered mine in the bed so i'm assuming that's why my Softopper won't clear the tailgate side cross bar. Your rack seems to be closer to the cab. Looks good! i'll get my pics of mine today hopefully but here's a few i shot last night.
    D0D829DD-D4FC-453F-9856-AEC7302B7A96.jpg

My bars seem to sit quite higher than yours. Based on instructions it said to install at the highest setting so the softopper clears. If I’m understanding correctly.

highest setting is only to flip open and close the softtopper. If you are going to leave it fixed, you can drop it lower

Yes. I should've clarified, his rack seems to sit lower than mine. So i was curious if his cleared at that setting. I'll lower mine anyways. I don't plan on dropping my softopper very much anyways. Plus I believe(if haven't tried this yet) i can always disconnect it from the side pins and lower into the cab, then fold it to cab end.

Really happy this this rack and as always, impressed with the quality of the build. It was a long wait, but understandably so. I'll get some better pictures when i can. Hoping to make it out to the Painted Hills this weekend and that'll be perfect for a small photo op. Thanks uptop!

Thanks man! I moved as close to the cab as a could because the bed rail channel doesn’t extend far enough back for the Bestop clamps. I wanted to make sure there was enough pressure on the bulb seal. I bought a double bulb 1/2”x 1 5/8” weather seal hoping it’ll be a tighter for than the foam. I don’t have any plans to fold the topper forward, so I dropped the crossbar brackets to the 4th(?) hole on the legs. I may actually drop it even lower but for the mean time the crossbars are level with the bars mounted over the cab.
Excited to see photos of your setup!
