Just cuz, we're friends and you're such a wonderful person?

If I had it, those would be my two main reasons for doing it.

There are two major components, this is the controller for anything you need a on/off switch for. Typically lights, however, you can wire more than lights. Your refrigerator, winch for example, or on board air.

The other half of the system is the fuse panel. Think of this like your breaker panel in your house, except with the digital controller you don't have to get under the hood to turn off a circuit.

So you will need the fuse panel and all the fuses and relays, and wires and connectors. The sky's the limit if you know someone who can wire up the fuse panel for you.

The beauty (and why it's so much) of this digital controller is that it has a shit ton of cool features. Some safety features too. One thing this controller does is shuts everything down after I think 6 hours of inactivity called a "deep sleep" mode. It's a super nice feature except it will also shut off your refrigerator. I'm not sure if that can be programmed after it leaves the factory. On the website it says to contact them to have it disabled. Other cool features are:
    • Each switch is programmable for dimming, flash, momentary, strobe, and switch linking (program any switch to be a master to control other switches).
What's nice about "switch linking" is that if you wanted to, you could have a single switch for all your lights to come on at once, so all light bars and high beams. Also beneficial for you would be the all light on activated strobe feature.
    • All 8 switches are RGB backlit.
So you can match whatever interior light theme you have.

I highly recommend you find someone local that can help you with the install. This is definitely not something you want to use to learn how to do wiring on. Some guys are masters of making the wiring under the hood at the fuse panel a work of art.

Oh, one last thing you will need is mounting plate under the hood for the fuse panel. Amazingly, these are not cheap (sarchasm).

I have the Auxbeam version. It included the fuse panel and mounting hardware, fuses and relays. It's definitely not as feature laden as the sPod, but will work for my needs. I plan on hooking it all up soon though.

The controller will be mounted to the slanted area of the headliner forward of the sun roof between the sunroof and the overhead console. Since it will primarily be used during winter commutes and off roading at night, I want it by the crawl control knob. I will only be hooking up lights and a winch to mine.
