That’s cool I guess if anyone believes that they probably deserve to learn the hard way anyhow lol.

I’m not proposing anyone buying a set of Duratracs should expect 100k out of them... stopping/turning/accelerating cause a LOT of wear. I spend a lot of time going straight at 75mph. Maybe that’s the secret?

Other than a dedicated tire for each category. There simply wont be a tire that performs nearly as good in all conditions that a normal maintained road will pose. Unless you need to off road in snow/mud/sharp rocks, the LTX MS will be the best tire you will find.

It’s not that he claimed 25mpg or you claim 100k.... it’s the proffer of those claims without an appropriate temperance for the unusual occurrence.

“I get 25mpg out of mine, but it’s a unicorn and most folks won’t see better than 19-20”

or I got “100k out of Mine, but that’s well outside the norm, most folks get far less.”

It’s annoying when questions get asked and an uninformed OP jumps on claims that exceed a couple standard deviations. All the sudden you have folks thinking that 20mpg highway with full armor and 285 e load tires is what they should expect.

When you are talking about exceeding expected values by 20-40% people are going to roll their eyes.

I am running P245/75R16 Firestone Destination A/T on my 2015 factory wheels. On wet pavement, and these tires, I have to watch my acceleration from stops. The V6 certainly has enough torque.
