I guess I'm just all scared and worried since @eon_blue bent his spindle

 

I'm not 100% that's the issue, just seems the most likely based on what's been replaced so far and the alignment issue persisting.

 

I hope you keep us updated if you ever do get new gusseted spindles.. im really intrigued by this problem that haunts you





Like my P0420 lurking in the shadows my light has been off for a month now but every so often I check the waveform and, yes, the problem still exists lol

 

No matter how much I washed that boat off I’m still finding salt after I left it to dry. I found crystallized salt on the hull this morning.

 

I don’t see anyone, just a pair of jeans.

 

Since switching to Non Ethanol 89 octane my P0420 came on briefly a few months ago.
I think gas over 10% is sometimes over 15%

We getting to the spicy winter fuel with lots of extra methanol to keep it from freezing, can anyone say low volatility.

 

Good thing I'm running winter air in my tires.
Shit gets bumpy when that summer air solidifies and the flat spot from being parked below 30° goes bam bam bam
all the way home.

 

My P0446 code is still wreaking havoc on my truck, oh well

 

Get a new gas cap

 

I guess I could definitely try that.
I’ve been thinking it’s the vent and avoiding it.

 

Buy an OEM cap. The aftermarket ones never do the job on any Toyota I've owned. Always throwing codes again 6 months down the road.

 

It’s funny, when we bought the truck it had an extra Oem gas cap in the cab and I gave it to a friend when he lost his cap off his second tank on his diesel

 

Did you test the Purge Selnoid?

 

Painted a thing. Lots of alcohol to get it clean. She's mint now

The O rings are MUCH cheaper.
I picked one up free from my friendly local Toyota dealership.
Salesman said the CEL was normal during test drives

Little known fact that O rings have nombers as do bearings.
But the industrial park is 60 mi
Toyota dealer is 10 mi

 

I did a seal on this Tundra to save money but splurged for a new cap on my Taco because the plastic tether was broken. Flatbed doesn't use the stock fuel neck so I'm not sure what to do about that one.
