Just realized there was a foodies thread! Cooked up some wicked smashed Philly cheese steak sando’s tonight. Beer braised garlic onions, sriracha garlic green peppers, ground beef with worsrishire sauce, garlic, pepper & salt, some nice provolone melted on top, a bit of aioli on the buns :headbang:

Love oysters, shucked a few with some friends the other night, should have snapped some photos. Raw and with a little horse radish, maybe some hot sauce

Temps dropped to the 30’s last night. Felt like a perfect day for a bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup. At 19 grams it’s near the top of my carb restrictions...but so good!

Haha, thanks man :fistbump:, I like to do those while out camping/wheeling but I’ll use puff pastry and make them in like a pocket. You know like pizza pockets, but philly cheese steak instead

That’s awesome I used to make those into mini calzones using Pilsbury flaky biscuit dough that I would roll out...served it over some nice homemade marinara sauce.

Well hot damn I’m gonna need to give those a try! There was a place I went to in Revelstoke that did them in a spring roll and it blew my friggin mind! Had to get another order for snack later, you know after....:rasta:

I had two favorite recipes. First was the Philly Cheesesteak...man that was good. Second was a Chicken Bacon Ranch...just as amazing. You know the filling for the first. The second you mix some cubed rotisserie chicken with crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar jack, and a cup of sour cream, then season it with powdered Hidden Valley Ranch dressing to your taste likings. Stir it together until it’s thick. Spoon it on and fold it over. Pinch at the seam, slit the top. and bake at 350 until golden. Haven’t tried those with my low carb pizza crust recipe yet but I’m going to have to do it soon.

Might need some advice on this project ??

My wife is a good cook, but only cooks Thai food. I can cook salmon and do the grill a little.

We are moving into a new place before Thanksgiving and I really want a good Thanksgiving dinner. :hungry:

I know we can't have a dinner like my grandmother made but I would settle for ... Turkey (moist) , dressing, mashed potatoes, brown or white gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes and rolls and any other suggestions welcomed.

The problem is I know NOTHING about how to cook this dinner, but I told my wife we would try to do this together.

I plan to look on line and get ideas ... I know Butterball has a toll free info number ... lol ... any and all suggestions welcomed.

If I can make this work I will take pics and post them ...

    Thanks ...
